Trio Group
We are Mead Hive and we are a group of three brewers who are lifelong friends. All three of us started getting into brewing around the same time and the rest is history! Over a hundred gallons of brews later and we decided to starting putting our hobby on the map. It all started when we saw 500lbs of apples for $100 bucks and made 50 gallons of hard cider over the course of a few weeks in the freezing months of winter. We slowly expanded from cider to beer to wine and MEAD! We fell in love with mead with it’s complex flavor structure and vast history. Mead predates the history of agriculture and is found in almost all cultures and ages at some point in history. One of the oldest known recipes is a mead recipe!
